Reading Photographs
These are photographs I return to. Some are famous, others less so. What matters is that they hold something I haven't exhausted: a formal decision, a political context, a moment of human drama that refuses to settle into easy interpretation.
This isn't criticism in the traditional sense. I'm not interested in declaring what these photographs mean, but in working through what they do. Each piece examines what I see, why a particular image stays with me, and what I think it reveals about the world it was made in.
